since this version version gwenview isn't working nice, looking images one for one with the right or left button it hangs often for seconds and on closing it takes time and usuall comes up a box asking "gwenview is not responding want to wait or terminate the application" 

disabling the status bar, it works almost normal like before

overall the new background setting is unnecessary and the former options where much better, even the zoom widget was much more practical as it is now
