Virtual desktops don't have individual saved settings like this; they are purely containers for windows. Same reason they all have the same wallpaper. The intended usage model for this type of thing is Activities, not Virtual Desktops. Ok I see the usage model now. But the right-click menu on desktop shows "Configure Desktop and Wallpaper..." and should then probably be named "Configure Activity and Wallpaper..." Created attachment 141777 [details]

oh btw Activity Settings looks a bit incomplete, is it currently redesigned? So to me it seems a bit confusing for users, though the concept and potential of desktop/activity is huge!
