Created attachment 141643 [details] Applications launched by shortcut are displayed in the Plasma System Monitor with the application's running path, not as the application name SUMMARY Bug 433362 Thanks for the solution. But now there is a problem; Applications launched with a shortcut are displayed on the Plasma System Monitor not as an application name, but by the application's running path. This is not a desirable situation. OBSERVED RESULT Applications launched with a shortcut are displayed in Plasma System Monitor with the application's running path, not as the application name. EXPECTED RESULT The names of the applications launched with the shortcut should appear in the Plasma System Monitor. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.22 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.11.0-34-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2

Are you specifying the full path to the executable in the shortcut settings? do these apps have .desktop files?

Hello, I think this problem seems to have disappeared with the last updated KDE. A small note: Elisa does not appear at all in Plasma System Monitor.
