An easier reproducer: launch visual studio code, click "Help" -> "About", and then switch to the window of a different application. X11 or Wayland? Does it happen with Gedit's "About Text Editor" window too? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > X11 or Wayland? Does it happen with Gedit's "About Text Editor" window too? X11, and it also happens with gedit. Gotcha. Cannot reproduce on X11. I don't think this is to blame on kwin. I downgraded kwin to a previous version (5.20.5) in which this and other bugs were not happening, and downgraded latte too just in case, but I see this bug is still there. Are you using any window rules? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #6) > Are you using any window rules? I don't have any window rules. Thanks. This bug was reported against an outdated version of KWin. We have made many changes since the. If the issue persists in newer versions can you reopen the bug report updating the version number. |
