SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download 21.08.0b appImage from the official site
2. Make it executable
3. Launch it
4. If it's not the first run, just click on "Settings" → Configure Wizard

OBSERVED RESULT
Startup wizard says package Frei0r (frei0r-plugins) is missing

EXPECTED RESULT
The application starts as always

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
appImage 21.08.0b on Ubuntu 20.04 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Anyway, it looks like frei0r plugins are present and usable. It's just a wrong warning, maybe?
Being an appimage, this happens with or without the installation of frei0r plugins in Ubuntu.

Thank you for reporting. I can confirm this issue. That should not happen. It seems a packaging miss.

Thanks for your report! I am closing this because 21.08.1 is out since a while and should fix this problem, please try again and reopen if it is not fixed.
