Description herowl.somebody9 2021-08-24 12:04:21 UTC
SUMMARY
If I choose column icon alignment and position them myself, they get displaced on boot by one grid position forwards for every column there is to the left. I suppose the cause is that when booting, the grid is extended to fill the whole screen, but then a panel (taskbar) appears on the bottom, causing one (empty) position to be wrapped to the next column, pushing the actual icons one step forwards.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Choose desktop as folder view.
2. Choose icon column alignment.
3. Add some icons to the desktop.
4. Reboot.

OBSERVED RESULT
Icons get displaced by one step for every column to the left of the icon.

EXPECTED RESULT
Icons keep their position.

Are the icons aligned to the right or the left?

Hadn't checked it before, but it seems it only happens when icons are aligned to the left.
