SUMMARY
similar to bug 435461

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open System Settings > Appearance
2. go to quick settings page by clicking on home icon beside the search field
3. click on "More appearance settings..." button

OBSERVED RESULT
System Settings goes to Global Themes KCM and other KCMs under Appearance
category are not accessible. Please see the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT
all KCMs under "Appearance" should be accessible after the last step.

Looks like it's not automatically switching to the subcategory list. I cannot reproduce this issue when clicking the button on the Quick Settings page, but I can reproduce it in other contexts; see Bug 440457. I suspect they will have the same root cause, or a similar one.

Can reproduce on Plasma 6 RC1.

1. open System Settings > Colors & Themes
2. go to quick settings page by clicking on home icon beside the search field
3. click on "More appearance settings..." button

Can reproduce now. It seems that it only happens when you click on the "More Appearance Settings" button after previously navigating elsewhere that shows a subcategory. If you click the button as soon as yo launch System Settings, it doesn't happen.

Looks like this was also fixed by the commit that fixed Bug 446288 and Bug 434345, which was authored by Nicolas Fella and will appear in Plasma 6.0.5!
