SUMMARY

It seems that System Settings has lost the ability to properly arrange buttons.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. System Settings ▶ Appearance ▶ Window Decorations ▶ Titlebar Buttons

2. drag things in to the dummy title bar

3. drop

OBSERVED RESULT

4. a drop in the expected place

EXPECTED RESULT

4. items dropped are out of sight, or duplicated, and so on.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Wonder whether this broke following application of a theme, although subseqently preferring e.g. Breeze has not worked around the bug.

Can confirm this is an issue on 5.22.5 on Arch. The UI is oversized as well so the buttons on the right cannot be seen. https://i.imgur.com/ThHKz2C.png

Looks like this was fixed on Plasma 5.23.
