Hello, Thanks Stephen for testing. Yes the 1st trials with MLT7 need a bit of polishing; I'm aware of it but don't have time to fix it right now. Hopefully soon ;) (In reply to Vincent PINON from comment #1) > Hello, > Thanks Stephen for testing. > Yes the 1st trials with MLT7 need a bit of polishing; I'm aware of it but > don't have time to fix it right now. Hopefully soon ;) Hi Vincent Thanks. I've gone back to 21.04.3 for the time being. And when I did I noticed all my settings had gone: keyboard shortcuts, project settings, etc. Could you test again with latest nigthly build? If Kdenlive ask for melt.exe click on the folder icon and point to the folder where Kdenlive.exe is stored. The path setting should look like: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Settings_Menu/Configure_Kdenlive#MLT_Environment (In reply to emohr from comment #3) > Could you test again with latest nigthly build? The path setting should look like: > https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Settings_Menu/ > Configure_Kdenlive#MLT_Environment Sorry no luck. I downloaded and installed build #833. It keeps prompting for MLT profiles (/usr/local/share/mlt-7/profiles) - and not Melt.exe. Any reason why it keeps looking for "/usr/local/share/mlt-7/profiles" instead of "C:\Users\steph\AppData\Local\kdenlive\share\mlt\profiles"? :-) (In reply to Stephen Esseenyne from comment #4) > (In reply to emohr from comment #3) > > Could you test again with latest nigthly build? As I had v21.04.3 installed I installed #834 as Kdenlive834 to prevent over-writing and Kdenlive opened without incident. Then I uninstalled both versions and re-installed #834 but it prompted me for the MLT profiles, as before, when I opened it. In the meantime we solved the MLT issue. Could you check with the nightly build again? (In reply to emohr from comment #6) > In the meantime we solved the MLT issue. Could you check with the nightly > build again? Hello. Just tried the latest build* and it looks like the issue is fixed; I opened my last project and watched it all at x10 speed. Well done and thank you. *https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/kdenlive-master-843-windows-mingw_64-gcc.exe Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear it works. This fix is part of version 21.08. I close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. |
