Ah, I found a workaround: If I disable background contrast in workspace behaviour settings the problem does not exist anymore. supposedly this bug was fixed in frameworks 5.84, see bug 438121. (In reply to Patrick Silva from comment #2) > supposedly this bug was fixed in frameworks 5.84, see bug 438121. No, it is not a duplicate of the bug 438121. As you can see on my given information and the screenshot I am already on frameworks 5.84. Furthermore I do not have shadows and corner issues on it (because I haven't ones) but on the corners directly. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 438644 *** |
Created attachment 139991 [details] corners with white areas on popups SUMMARY In the dark Breeze theme, a small white area appears at the corners of PopUps. This probably happens because the window is drawn square, but the theme displays the corners slightly rounded. This is especially unpleasant on dark backgrounds. This bug only occurs since the update to plasma version 5.22.3. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set global Plasma Theme to Dark Breeze and use dark background picture or dark application 2. Move mouse over entries on task bar (like network, clock, volume...) 3. OBSERVED RESULT The shown popup window will have small white corners at the corners EXPECTED RESULT Popup windows schould be fully rounded or have completely dark corners as before on Plasma 5.22.2 SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.3 - here the issue appears KDE Frameworks Version: 5.84 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
