Just upgraded Plasma to 5.22.3. The bug is still present for me. Cannot reproduce however I noticed that it seems to always start as X client please include output of WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 plasmashell --replace with dolphin and claws-mail open Created attachment 139955 [details]

That shows kwin is sending only: - dolphin - yakuake - plasmashell This means it's not the task manager at fault, but something earlier in the stack Can you run qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin queryWindowInfo and click on the claws-mail and send me output please. This version shows normal taskbar behavior on Wayland. I suspect Claws-Mail 3.18 (released simultaneously) is still affected by this bug.
