works well for me Kate 21.04.02 I cannot reproduce the search problem, but I know there is an issue with highlights and replace, if you have two unsaved documents.... In that situation the Search plugin has a hard time knowing which file is which. Then if you have selected search place to be in project-files or folder, this unsaved file does not belong to any of them... Aah, that might indeed be the reliable repro case. I tried it just now and it found and replaced in the unsaved doc that was not in focus. Target was "current file". I could not find an existing report. Fixed in master now |
