Description Mark Anderson 2021-07-03 16:57:53 UTC
SUMMARY
Please eliminate invisible scrollbars and disappearing scrollbars. User interface items should be visible so that we know where to click. What do you think you are achieving by hiding scrollbars?

Also, make the scrollbars wider. It's more difficult to get the mouse pointer on a skinny scrollbar.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

We don't have invisible scrollbars and disappearing scrollbars anymore, at least for the desktop use case. Can you provide an example of what you're complaining about in the form of a screenshot?

Attached are two screenshots. One showing cursor and no scrollbar, the
other showing cursor and scrollbar.  I don't know if this "application"
is part of KDE or something added by Ubuntu Studio.

KDE Plasma version 5.21.4
Ubuntu Studio 21.04

It would appear that you are using a 3rd-party theme, which is most likely causing the problem of the scrollbar being invisible. Let me guess: Kvantum, right?
