As I learned by bug 410254 the background access to clipboard is prohibited.

To work around for non-rooted devices: can you please offer a UI in the App to explicitly paste text from the phone to the desktop while the App is in foreground.

Alternatives:
1. A button to click, that is a one shot "send phones current clipboard now"
2. A text field representing the remote clipboard of the desktop accepting edits and especially pastes from the phone.

1. would support any content, while 2. only supports plain text.

There is a button in the persistent notification to send the clipboard from phone to PC.

Great - haven't seen that before, as you need to unfold the notification. But it perfectly fits my wish :D

So I resolve as works for me.
