Description slartibart70 2021-06-17 20:50:21 UTC
clicking on the checkboxes in discover in settings asks for the root passwd, and clicking on a checkbox afterwards does not change the checkboxes visual state (but, refreshing the page by going to ‘about’ and back to ‘settings’ shows the click was indeed successful)

Comment 3 slartibart70 2021-06-18 15:31:26 UTC
and, i have the zawertun/copr enabled to get the latest plasma 5.22.0/.1 repos
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2021-06-18 16:03:23 UTC
Huh, works for me with Fedora 34, with all KDE stuff built from source on top of it. Clicking on the checkbox show an auth prompt, but after I enter my password, the checkbox is checked or unchecked as expected.

I can't confirm this bug with repositories managed
by packagekit backend. But I can reproduce with firmware repos, see bug 406295

Could confirm that at the time, but it's now working for me as well with fwupd backend. Let's call it fixed now.
