I just installed the latest release version and it says 21.04.2 in the Add or Remove Programs section. I think someone needs to update the yaml file in winget so it pulls the latest release. changing status to not-a-bug Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. UPDATE: Could fix winget getting wrong version (I had a system-wide installation of kdeconnect I had to remove first) But it would be nice if you could report the entire version number to windows including .633 just like Nextcloud does: https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=139718 Then it should work. actually, KDE Connect follows the KDE Gear Release Cycle according to which all KDE Apps released in a particular cycle are assigned a common version number. Consequently, the version number you are receiving for KDE Connect in the winget package in fact, checks out just fine.
