Nvidia-settings contains it's own colour correction. It will fight with anything active. There is not much we can do Why this doesn't happen with the internal laptop screen then? There is inconsistency between behaviour on laptop's internal screen and external screen: - On internal screen the Night Color stays active - On external screen the Night Color becomes inactive Moreover, the Night Color status icon in the tray doesn't change the state when the Night Color becomes inactive.
