I cannot reproduce the problem. Are you using the last available digiKam-7.3.0 for Windows from 05/24/2021? The table view also has the option of not using the grouping feature (right-click over an item in the context menu). Maik Created attachment 138770 [details]

Similarity view
You can see that the label of another group member is missing! In other words, the reason for not showing it may be a "filter" problem. The display cannot receive data. The problem occurred after the update.
I don't see an error in the screenshot of Comment 3 ... Maik Created attachment 138772 [details]
Labels - Ignore grouping
Labels - Ignore grouping shows only one file (Labels / Rating 2), which is also correct.
But one idea of grouping is to combine similar but not necessarily identical images and see them as a set if necessary.
Grouping images could only be based on the fact that at some point the user has grouped the images. Filters, searches should highlight a group if the condition is met for at least one image.
A related problem arises when deleting group members - either keep the remaining group in the active view or remove it if the condition does not match.
For the user's peace of mind, it may make sense to show that only one image was deleted - not both, or more in the case of a larger group.

The patch from Bug 437588 has not yet been applied in the source code, so it is not yet available in the current Windows bundle. At the moment it is only for me to test and for you that you can see that it is being worked on. Maik This behavior of the program may be related to the Bug 437548 fix Fixed with Bug 437588 Maik |
