Interesting. I know the root cause of this. The setting changes the volume of the relevant entry in the stream restore database, but if no such sound has been played then there is no entry. Not sure how to fix it though *** Bug 477290 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
Created attachment 138525 [details] Option SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE Currently, if you do a fresh install of an OS with Plasma, the option "Notification sounds" (System Settings > Audio) won't appear unless a system event with sound happens first. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT Allow to turn off system sounds without waiting for a system event with sound happens.
