Confirmed, although the keyword for Krunner to recognize that we are looking for a definition is translated to the desktop language, the search terms only work if they are in English. Please, fix it or remove it and make it available as an add-on in the KDE store, not as standard, because it is useless for most users on the planet and only makes to overload the increasingly cumbersome and heavy Krunner. |
SUMMARY The spell check packages are installed on my system, but the runner still does not work for the system language. Only definitions of English words are displayed. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I tried to contact two developers and they both informed me basically the same thing > The KRunner plugin uses the dataengine from plasma-workspace > it uses Plasma::DataEngine SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Graphics Platform: X11
