It would be great if Akregator could fetch feeds without the need to be opened, like akonadi background resource that fetch feeds and show notifications when new feeds arrives. Because having the whole app that consumes over 100 MB in the background to only fetch feeds is too much.

This is wishlist not bug, the other 436777 is bug which is resolved :(
