no window rules enabled
This happens in the latest FF release (88) and in 89 (beta). X or wayland? X, I forgot to add this. I don't see where kwin would be involved in this. Please test your firefox setup under openbox and confirm what happens. Created attachment 138211 [details]
bug doesn't happen
I couldn't use Openbox, SDDM always got frozen, so I tried another environment: the bug doesn't happen in Budgie.
This also happens in Wayland. I can confirm this under 88 and 90.0a1. Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20210514 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.12.3-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Do note that the new window has the maximum size, but it isn't maximized. Changing status for inspection as per comment 6 This bug was reported against an outdated version of KWin. We have made many changes since the. If the issue persists in newer versions can you reopen the bug report updating the version number. Can confirm, but maybe this is a Firefox bug? *** Bug 444661 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Please report this to Firefox |
