SUMMARY
I can no longer use the eraser option at all. The drop down such as image, file, edit, etc. are missing majority of the options. When clicking on the image drop down menu, the only available option is rotate, and then the drop down menu for rotate is just blank. And this issue is with all the drop down menus at the top, varying in severity.

Look in the krita resources folder for a file with the extension .xmlgui, delete it and start krita.
