Description sebastian labi 2021-03-21 15:06:47 UTC
SUMMARY

This is a problem that has been happening for several versions, I never reported it because I thought it was momentary.
When I make a new filter layer, the back image turns dark, which makes it very difficult to calibrate the layer.

Not a bug either. You need to reconfigure kwin not to dim the main window when a dialog opens.

Is it possible that the standard configuration was without that opacity? would help many users.

No, we cannot change this -- this isn't controlled by Krita, but by the window manager. Look for something called Desktop Effects or Effects and then Dim parent. Where it is exactly depends on the version of kwin.
