I can confirm this bug on wayland only. Since the reported information do not provide the graphics platform, I will mark this bug as a wayland issue. @Sudhir can you please elaborate regarding the used graphics platform? I can reliably reproduce this issue on wayland when copying some text from konsole. In this case an empty entry always appears beneath the actual copied text. Created attachment 136683 [details] Screenshot SUMMARY Clipboard has empty entries. These entries are not blank spaces but actual empy entries. You can't do anything with empty entries so they should not be there. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT I consistently see empty entries in the clipboard manager. EXPECTED RESULT Empty entries can't be used they are neither blank space nor new lines so they should not pollute the clipboard.
