SUMMARY
Currently Kickoff displays items of categories in Applications and Places tabs
on mouseover, what can be specially annoying when we use an imprecise
touchpad/mouse. Therefore, an option to disable switching on mouseover would be
nice.

Not a dupe of bug 433505. This report is about kickoff, not kicker.

It is a duplicate, but the other report was filed against the wrong component, which I missed. The behavior described there perfectly matches Kickoff and does not match Kicker at all.
