Description medin 2021-03-02 20:14:06 UTC
It would be really good to return to old layout of "Appearance" as header label and under it put the related look settings. Why ? because global themes, colors, icons, fonts have more priority to be always visible and be put under first root node "Appearance" rather than being displayed on second column. Some trivial settings like "User Feedback", "Online accounts",... are kept under first root node while important desktop customization settings are pushed to second column.

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.4.100-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit

It's true that accessing these sub-pages now requires an additional click. However we wanted to reinforce the fact that they are all children of the Global Themes feature. Maybe we didn't do that well enough. See also Bug 433081.

After a few years we have to consider this the intended design that we're not going to go back to, sorry!
