The problem is that with this action Dolphin move the image and digiKam does not receive any information about it. The only thing you can do is to activate the album monitoring in digiKam, then digiKam will notice the change. But there are also reasons not to activate the album monitoring (collection settings). You have to decide how important it is to you. The album can also be updated quickly manually with CTR + F5. Maik Then why did it work with the former version? In older digiKam versions the album monitoring for external changes was always activated. Album monitoring is now optional and deactivated by default, as it also causes major problems under MacOS and Windows and most users do not need it.
