can you move the mouse? Can you switch to a VT (control+alt+f2) If so please killall -9 the relevant kwin and then DISPLAY=:0 kwin and see if that fixes it Yes, I can move the mouse. I forgot to mention here cause I mentioned it in the Reddit post but I can switch TTYs. Next time it happens I'll give that a shot, thanks. Hi, yes running kill all -9 kwin_x11 and then DISPLAY=:0 kwin_x11 brought me to the lockscreen, and then I'm able to login and everything works like normal. Just had what seems like the same error, didn't even lock or anything.
