SUMMARY

If I click one of the tabs in kde system settings then click the home icon,
going back to the tab by tapping it doesn't work.
Let's say that I clicked the global themes tab from the sidebar then clicked
the home icon, clicking global themes from the sidebar doesn't activate it.
If that isn't obvious, I am using the sidebar view option.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1.Launch system settings
2.Click any tab for instance global themes tab from sidebar
3.Click home icon
4.Click back on the specific tab I have clicked before for instance global themes

OBSERVED RESULT

The tab isn't activated

EXPECTED RESULT

The tab should be activated

Can confirm with KCMs at the top level which are not within a group. For example, the Users or Notifications KCMs.
