SUMMARY
When I open KPM by the first time after login, its password dialog opens
in foreground as expected. But if I restart KPM, its password dialog opens
in background until the next login.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. login
2. open KPM (its password dialog opens in foreground as expected) and enter your password
3. restart KPM

OBSERVED RESULT
password dialog opens in background

EXPECTED RESULT
password dialog should always open in foreground

bug 429770 is Wayland specific. The behavior reported here also occurs on X11.

OK, let's reopen this  then. But I'll probably won't have time to look at it since I haven't used X11 since Plasma 5.12 and I guess Wayland solution will work for X11 too.

This also affects me, just never got around to opening a report about it.

I'm unable to reproduce on X11, the bug persists on Wayland.

Looks like bug #429770 covers this issue on Wayland, so let's close this one and keep that one open.
