Huh, works for me. Are you using Elisa in a language other than English? I wonder if this is one of those translated-keys issues. As a matter of fact: I do! I'm using Elisa in the Dutch language. I also wiped both ~/.local/share/elisa and ~/.config/elisarc and tried again after that but it remained the same. I'm betting the key stored in the config file is translated rather than being a string literal, but it's late and I will check tomorrow. I changed the line InitialView=AllAlbums to IntialView=Albums. Elisa did react to that: it didn't know so well what to do so it didn't show anything at startup. Btw: When it IS InitialView=AllAlbums, than Elisa at startup also does show "AllAlbums". But you have to pay attention. It only lasts a split second. After that it goes to Playing Now... Hmm actually it's not the translation issue I alluded to. *** Bug 436341 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hi, I can confirm this bug on Fedora 34. There is a line "InitialView=AllAlbums" in ~/.config/elisarc. Elisa ignores the choice "All Albums" and starts in "Now Playing". It works properly when I cahnge the language to English. It doesn't work in other languages like German or Finnish.
