SUMMARY
If I boot without any speakers or headphones connected, audio widget is OFF as espected, but if I connect some headphones, it does not turn ON. The only way to speakers or headphones to be detected is to be plugged in before boot


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. unplug all audio output devices before boot
2. boot and login
3. connect some headphones

OBSERVED RESULT
Audio widget is in OFF state, and internal audio profiles are empty

EXPECTED RESULT
Audio widget change state to ON.

I strongly suspect that this is going to wind up either being an issue in PulseAudio, or a conflict between PulseAudio and PipeWire.

Moving to Neon for further triage.
