I uninstalled qt5ct and filelight does indeed work with qt5ct removed. Since filelight is the only program experiencing this issue I'm inclinded to think it's a bug with filelight and not qt5ct. I have a lot of programs that rely on qt5ct to function correctly so removing it permanately isn't a option for me.
