in point 3. do you mean the "popup color palette"? We used to have a bug similiar to what you describe, but instead it would lock the UI when using the Popup ColorPalette (In reply to vanyossi from comment #1) > in point 3. do you mean the "popup color palette"? Does it still happen if you switch Krita to Windows Ink in Configure Krita -> Tablet Settings, then restart your PC? (In reply to Tiar from comment #3) > Does it still happen if you switch Krita to Windows Ink in Configure Krita > -> Tablet Settings, then restart your PC? It actually works better with WinTab, using Windows Ink messes up the pen buttons making them unusable, and the issue still occurs. This time, however, I tried pressing Ctrl to activate the color picker tool and it showed me a green color, even though the background was pure white and I hadn't used any green at all. Here's a screenshot of what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/P2uS6FK The green color also stays on the popup palette when I used my mouse to activate it, but I can't use it. https://imgur.com/kUCkg51 I tried using the mouse and it works fine, maybe it's some issue with the pen? The green there is the background color, which means that Krita reads your ctrl+click as "ctrl + right click". Have you tried reinstalling the Huion driver? Please do. Please do. Just did. I uninstalled it, rebooted my computer, installed it again, imported the old hotkey config and Krita presents the same issue. I've been using WinTab for now since it presents the least amount of problems, but it still happens from time to time. I could try updating my huion drivers to a newer version and see what it does since there was a new version released recently. Thanks for your comment! Recently on krita-artists there was a link to a Huion FAQ that described a problem very much like this and the solution was to replace the nib. I switched the nib and didn't see much of a difference, although half of that old issue seemed to have solved itself after a while (oops!), currently, the brush disappearing and freezing in place is still happening, although it's after you choose a brush from the pop-up palette and it closes, I've enabled the option to see a small circle around the brush (for accessibility reasons since I have a poor eyesight) and the circle itself doesn't freeze, but the brush gets stuck in place, disabled until I right click again. Haven't noticed this issue using the tablet in any other software so far. Krita version: 5.0.6 HUION Firmware version: 15.3.19.151 Still on Windows 10, not using Windows Ink on Krita and I've disabled it on Windows for the moment, haven't tried using it with the newest version of Krita nor the newest Huion drivers. Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to close this report. With the Huion tablet we have, we don't have problems, and since there simply isn't any tablet-specific code in Krita (it's all OS drivers and Qt) there isn't anything we can realistically do. |
