We typically use "two sliders" iconography to mean "settings". But I guess "system" is different from "settings". Makes sense to me. I like it. Yes, typically based on my own use: I have a folder named "System" on my home folder where i put system or applications related resources (could be pics for screensaver slideshow, ebook library, or some other geeky admin documents...)
