Are you sure you are using kmix, and not plasma-pa? If unsure, please ask in a forum of your distribution. I just installed Manjaro, due to the other bug I filed: 427498 I had no issue with audio devices there. I then reinstalled KDE and the problem reappeared, so it is definitely linked to something in KDE neon. Attaching my USB sound devices works fine, it is just the internal speaker, which I depend on a lot, that is not working Do the devices appear in pavucontrol or pavucontrol-qt?
