similar to bug 421676 I can reproduce this to a 100% on 5.20 Wayland with a newly created user. 1. login 2. logout 3. login 4. observe how kdeconnectd replicates itself slowly until it uses 100% CPU I can reproduce this as well. Running on 5.20 with Wayland. Can't reproduce it on 5.21. |
SUMMARY After pressing "log out", akonadi_maildispatcher_agent, akonadi_newmailnotifier_agent, akonadi_indexing_agent, korgac, kdeconnectd start using 100% of the CPU. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Log in 2. Log out OBSERVED RESULT After pressing log out, all the fans start ramping up. Signing in shows akonadi_maildispatcher_agent, akonadi_newmailnotifier_agent, akonadi_indexing_agent, korgac, kdeconnectd using 100% of the CPU. Strace in htop prints: "wait4(6735, NULL WNOHANG, NULL) = 0 poll([{fd=3, events=POLLIN}], 1, 1000) = 0 (Timeout)" Plasma can stutter, freeze or crash.
