You can filter your images by doing a search.
Maik
Well, Advanced Search is option I am looking for. I was struggling with left and right frames trying to somehow select photos i need and found it very uncomfortable and not functional. Advanced Search does all that I need. It should be presented somewhere that is easily accessible and obvious, and possibly set to be open as default instead both left and right frames. Left and right sidebar are short access to specific king of contents from your collections. The filter view from the right sidebar is a tool to sort and filter item from the current view accordingly with photo properties. It's ont a search tool, it's a filtering tool, even if the Advanced search tool can use the same criteria. The concept of Advanced Search is to create complex request to the database and to save result in virtual album which can be replayed later. I close this file now. Gilles Caulier I am ware of difference on search and filtering. Thing there should be no difference in criteria, ti is just matter hos data is handled. I do not object. Search suits me. It is just it does not have to be buried so deep and harder to access and use. |
