SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I launched kleopatra as per usual
2. Clicked File on the top menu bar 
3. Clicked "Decrypt/Verify" 

OBSERVED RESULT

Usually a window will open allowing me to select a file to decrypt. This time no window opened for me to select a file. I tried closing and relaunching the program and same issue.  I also checked the certificate and it still seems to be valid and has not expired. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

EXPECTED RESULT

I expect a window to open allowing me to select files for decryption. But nothing shows up.

You can try to remove ~/.config/kleopatrarc to reset kleopatra's window states.

For more advice I would need to know the version / operating system you use.

I'll try that - thanks. It turns out that right-clicking the file to decrypt works fine so fortunately I now have a workaround. Appreciate the quick response.
