Description Felix Bachstein 2020-07-27 15:10:47 UTC
feature-request
A file/folder to big to be moved to trashed, doesn't get deleted (as intended I guess), but also no option to delete it is shown. As I only use the context menu to interact with files, I'd either like to have "delete" in the context menu, or a hint/extra button to delete instead where the message "The file is too large to be trashed" at the top comes up.

Showing such a popup with the option to delete the file is also the default behavior on Windows.

In the meantime you can use Shift+Delete to delete a file permanently.

"The file is too large to be trashed" notification is also not very helpful.

I have tried to delete a whole bunch of files at once and the message doesn't tell me, which files are problematic and how to deal with the issue.

I've added the "usability" tag therefore.
