I can reproduce this issue with dolphin 20.04.3. dolphin 20.04.2 does not have this issue so maybe it is caused by 37df39b93bf23b89ca760d4dd793788833d9a3e1? [1] [1] https://github.com/KDE/dolphin/commit/37df39b93bf23b89ca760d4dd793788833d9a3e1 Seems like a kio_thumbnail issue. Definitely not caused by https://github.com/KDE/dolphin/commit/37df39b93bf23b89ca760d4dd793788833d9a3e1. And interesting they are shown in the folder content preview and if you hover over them. Dolphin 21.04.2
The bug is still reproducible on Dolphin 21.04.2 with Plasma 5.22.
To see the icon, I have to hover the pointer on the file.

As we can see in the screenshot attached to this comment, icons are barely visible on neon unstable and Arch (Dolphin 21.08.1), not invisible.
