Krita doesn't have any specific code for handling window management things like maximizing; so if there's an issue, it's unlikely we can fix it in Krita... Anyway: * Are you using appimages, distribution packages, snaps or flatpaks? * Does maximizing _still_ work if you run an older appimage? I am using Snap. I have not tried an older app image. Then please give that a try? Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I have tried an older version (4.2.9) and I am able to maximize the window. I have also tried the latest version (4.3) on snap, apt, and appimage. None of the versions can maximize the window. Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information. Can you please check if switching to a different workspace in Window -> Workspace helps? I have it sometimes on Linux Mint that if I have a workspace that mentions a docker that doesn't exist in some version, or the workspace doesn't exist in that version or I removed the resources etc., it doesn't want to work properly as a window, but then when I select a different workspace, it's all fine again. Would like to say that this is the first bug I encountered upgrading to 4.3.0 If, by any chance, the Snapshot Docker is on, close it. I'm using Linux Mint MATE 19.1 and closing the docker immediately maximized the window. Switching to the default workspace worked. I am now running the apt version (4.3.0). Thank you! |
