There is a daily build of the stable release available at https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Windows%2064-bit/job/Okular_Release_win64/ (In reply to Nicolas Fella from comment #1) > There is a daily build of the stable release available at > https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Windows%2064-bit/job/ > Okular_Release_win64/ Thanks Nicolas. Provided that these builds are from Okular stable, it is still not realistic at all to expect my students to feel comfortable after I drect them to a Jenkins continuous build page. What I request is some link to: "Here's the direct installer in case you cannot use the Store". I agree that there should be a proper website to download it from. https://okular.kde.org/download.php and https://kde.org/applications/en/graphics/org.kde.okular come to my mind. I will ask some other people for input though (In reply to Nicolas Fella from comment #3) > I agree that there should be a proper website to download it from. > > https://okular.kde.org/download.php and > https://kde.org/applications/en/graphics/org.kde.okular come to my mind. > > I will ask some other people for input though Indeed. Thanks, Nicolas. I don't understand how this bug is at all different from 423712 (In reply to Albert Astals Cid from comment #5) > I don't understand how this bug is at all different from 423712 In this case I am specifically requesting stable installers to be made available outside the Windows Store. Not precisely stable URLs, but installers for *stable* releases of Okular instead of nightly/daily builds. An addition to this requiest: The Jenkins page that Nicolas supplied gives a stable installer for a 64-bit version. Various students are still on 32-bit Windows and thus a 32-bit installer would be desirable. |
