Description Kuzhalan 2020-06-30 15:39:44 UTC
SUMMARY
Kubuntu: 18.04
Kate: 17.12.3

The File -> New menu now reads in Tamil as 'புதிய' but it would be more appropriate if it is 'புதியது' or 'புதிய கோப்பு'.

Similarly, a new empty file that would be named 'Untitled' in English shows as 'தலைப்பில்லா'. It would be more appropriate if it is 'தலைப்பில்லாதது' or 'தலைப்பில்லை'.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set system language to Tamil.
2. Open File -> New (புதிய)
3. A new document with the name 'தலைப்பில்லா' is created.

OBSERVED RESULT
File -> New menu now reads in Tamil as 'புதிய'
A newly created empty file is named as 'தலைப்பில்லா'

EXPECTED RESULT
File -> New menu should read in Tamil as 'புதியது' / 'புதிய கோப்பு'
A newly created empty file should be named 'தலைப்பில்லாதது' / 'தலைப்பில்லை'
