Hi, we can't because of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378282 , so I think we'll need to close this?

But I'm not talking about picking color from other windows. I'm talking about the Krita internal color selector is completely unavailable on MacOS.

Why do we discard the whole well-designed color selector just to be able to pick colors from other windows? If someone really needs to pick colors from other windows they can screenshot and paste to Krita (on Mac there is a default shortcut to screenshot into clipboard so it's rather convenient).

Well... Because macos users asked for it. We spent quite a bit of time making sure the macos native color selector would show because we got complaints Krita had its own.

Well okay... I don't get why they hate Krita's own color picker. With palette and other nice stuff.

I think it's better to have an option to use Krita's coloer picker instead of MacOS' then. But it's more a feature request than a bug report.

Let's make this into a wish bug then, because I do agree.

Hasn't this been fixed recently, or have I misremembered?

Yes, though I'm not sure whether the option is exposed in the gui:
