Unfortunately there's no way for you to receive bug reports for just that syntax highlighter, but I can cc you for all the syntax highlighting bugs. Would that be acceptable? Thanks for writing the syntax highlighter for Prolog, BTW! If I can get the syntax definition prolog.xml I wrote, yes, because I remember I took great effort in comment and folding (region) handling, so I could help with such problems. My copy might be somewhere in my old computers, but...
Remember there was such a bug in a more widely used one (shell/bash-script, C/C++?). This was not trivial so I guess many authors do it sub-optimal.
