It happened just after filing this issue and it doesn't seem to be so much about "windows that ask for focus". The taskbar stays visible, but if you change the focused window, it's this window that gets highlighted in the taskbar. You just have no way to get the bar to hide. I suffer from the same experience: Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 Kernel Version: 5.4.0-80-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-3520M CPU @ 2.90GHz Memory: 7.5 GiB Hello, do you still have this problem? I was not able to reproduce it unfortunately. For me, the bottom bar works as expected, even if I have multiple windows requiring input are open. I have KDE Plasma Version 5.18.8 meanwhile. Cool, let's call it fixed. |
