This is something we've been moving towards. The current idea is to put these buttons on a toolbar above the main view. This is effectively fixed with the new design in Plasma 6. |
Created attachment 127510 [details] Embedded KCM Various KCM windows embedded inside System Settings or in standalone view often generate 2 rows of buttons where the bottom row is the common action buttons like Reset/Defaults/Apply/Cancel. Maybe a good move would be to separate them a bit by using a thin separator (horizontal line) above the common action buttons row. I have attached 2 screenshots with embedded KCM and standalone one to demonstrate this.
