Actually I figured out the archive is created properly. What tricked me into thinking the archiving failed was 1. The progress bar stops abruptly halfway through 2. The archive properties after opening in Ark do not match with what Dolphin shows (maybe it only looks at the first child folder while Dolphin looks at all of them? I dunno) The archive is created properly. I uncompressed the archive and everything was there. I think this can be closed and ignored if this inconsistency is intended. The progress bar does stop abruptly though sometimes and it totally looks like it crashed or failed halfway through. |
